The PM-KUSUM Component-A scheme — implemented in Rajasthan by RREC (Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation) and the state DISCOMs — allows individual farmers, FPOs, and farmer cooperatives to install grid-connected solar power plants of 500 kW to 2 MW on barren or fallow land near an 11 kV or 33 kV feeder.
