1 MW โ Ground Mount Solar Plant, Bikaner
This 1 MW ground-mounted captive solar plant near Bikaner was developed for a large agro-processing company (mustard and chilli processing) that consumed 18โ22 lakh units per year from JVVNL's HT industrial tariff at โน9.20/unit. The economics strongly favoured a captive plant over a PPA or rooftop option.
FGPS Solar designed the plant on 5 acres of company-owned land adjacent to the processing facility, using 2,500 ร 400W bifacial modules on fixed galvanised MS structures with a 12ยฐ tilt. Three 333 kW central inverters step output to 415V, feeding a 1 MVA transformer for 11 kV grid connection to RVPNL's intra-state network under captive wheeling arrangement.
Bikaner's high solar irradiation (6.2 kWh/mยฒ/day) and the bifacial module gain from ground albedo make this one of the highest-yield ground-mount projects in FGPS Solar's portfolio. The plant is protected by perimeter fencing, CCTV, and anti-theft underground DC cabling.
